SEPARATION COACH

The Zest Life

“I work with mothers to navigate the overwhelm of separation & get back your zest!"

My Mission

To support women navigating separation and getting their zest back. I help you feel less alone, less overwhelmed, and more anchored in yourself. There is no pressure here to rush or bounce back. Just honest guidance, practical tools, shared understanding, and space to move at your own pace.

Products

My core offering is Reclaiming Strength Through Separation, an eight-week journey available in two ways:

  • A self-guided online course that you move through at your own pace.

  • A facilitated group programme with live sessions and the company of other women.

Both cover the same four areas: grounding after separation, with simple tools for emotional overload; the practical side, including finances, parenting arrangements, and legal processes in plain English; supporting children through separation, with scripts for the hard conversations; and rebuilding life with intention, guided by your values rather than pressure.

I also offer a free 15-minute call. It is a calm, practical conversation to help you understand what support might suit you. It is not counselling, and there is no obligation.

If you are earlier in the journey, my free guide, Your First Steps Through Separation, is a gentle place to start. You can download it at thezestlife.co.nz.

Special Offer

My Story

For many years, I worked in programme leadership, supporting people and organisations through change. I learned how much clarity and steadiness matter when everything feels uncertain. Then that learning became personal.

My separation happened while I was raising children and holding a career together. On the outside, I looked functional. On the inside, I felt overwhelmed, muddled, and stretched thin. I remember the churn of grief, fear, guilt, and relief, often all in the same day. I remember making big decisions while exhausted and trying to be the steady parent when I did not feel steady at all.

What made it harder was how scattered the support felt. Legal information sat in one place. Emotional tools sat in another. Parenting guidance, financial clarity, and grounding practices were spread across many more. I had to piece it all together myself, one late night at a time.

So I created what I wished I had. I am also a trained yoga teacher, and those practices helped settle my nervous system when it was stretched thin. The Zest Life brings together everything I searched for in one calm place, for women walking the road I walked.

Testimonials

I honestly can’t recommend Jess enough. She supported me through one of the hardest times in my life, and I’m so grateful for her.
One of the biggest things that helped me was how she guided me to see things from a totally different angle. It really shifted my mindset and helped me move forward in a way I didn’t think I could at the time.
What I love most is that she’s now turning all of that into something bigger, by building a business to help others going through similar experiences. You can tell she genuinely cares - it’s not just a job for her.
If you’re going through a tough time and need someone who really gets it, she’s your person!
This course is so valuable
In a time of overwhelm & isolation, this course gave me a framework, practical tips, validated my feelings & reminded me I’m not alone. Most importantly of all it gave me hope that there is a good life on the other side, I just need to keep putting one foot in front of the other to get there. I can’t recommend it enough for anyone facing the challenge of separation.
Empowering support when it matters the most.
Jess is one of those people who makes you feel completely safe, heard, and supported from the moment you speak with her. She has such a calm, compassionate, and non-judgmental nature, which I found incredibly comforting during a difficult life transition.
Throughout my own separation journey, Jess was someone I could turn to when I felt overwhelmed, unsure, or simply needed guidance. She has a wealth of knowledge and always seemed to know where to point me when I had questions and didn’t know where to find answers myself.
What stands out most is her ability to empower rather than direct. She helped me feel stronger, more confident, and more capable of navigating a really challenging period of my life. Every conversation left me feeling lighter, clearer, and more supported.
I’m incredibly grateful for the space Jess provided and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for compassionate, thoughtful support during separation or major life changes.
