For Events, Workshops, Gatherings and Retreats
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made for events organized or hosted by us, including day events, workshops, community gatherings, and multi-day retreats. By booking or attending an event, you agree to the following terms.
1. Bookings & Payments
Your place at an event is confirmed once payment or deposit has been received.
Some events may require full payment at the time of booking, while others may allow a deposit with the remaining balance due before the event.
If the balance payment is not received by the specified due date, we reserve the right to release your place.
Prices are listed in NZD unless otherwise stated.
2. Cancellation Policy
We understand that circumstances may change, and we aim to offer fair and flexible cancellation options where possible.
Day Events, Workshops & Community Gatherings
Cancellations made 7 days or more before the event may receive a full refund or credit.
Cancellations made 3–6 days before the event may receive a partial refund or credit.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are generally non-refundable unless your place can be filled.
Retreats
Cancellations made 30 days or more before the retreat may receive a full refund minus administration fees.
Cancellations made 14–29 days before the retreat may receive a partial refund.
Cancellations made less than 14 days before the retreat are usually non-refundable.
Replacement of Your Place
If your place can be filled by another participant, you may receive a full refund of the amount paid (minus transaction or administration fees).
You may also transfer your booking to another person with prior notice.
3. Event Changes or Cancellation by Organisers
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the event schedule, location, facilitators, or programm if necessary.
If an event must be cancelled by the organizers, participants will receive a full refund of all payments made.
We are not responsible for additional costs incurred by participants such as travel or accommodation arrangements.
4. Participant Responsibility
Participants attend events voluntarily and take responsibility for their own physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing.
Some events may involve activities such as:
meditation
breathwork
movement practices
energy work
group sharing or personal development exercises
Participants are responsible for participating at a level that feels safe and appropriate for them.
If you have any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or special requirements, please inform the organisers prior to attending.
5. Health & Safety
Participants are expected to follow any safety guidelines provided by facilitators or venue hosts.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse participation in certain activities if they believe it may pose a risk to a participant’s health or safety.
6. Respectful Community Environment
We aim to create a safe, inclusive, and respectful space for everyone.
Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward:
facilitators
organisers
venue staff
other participants
The organisers reserve the right to ask a participant to leave an event if their behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful.
No refund will be issued in such cases.
7. Photography & Media
Photos or videos may occasionally be taken during events for community sharing or promotional purposes.
If you prefer not to appear in photographs or recordings, please inform the organisers before the event begins.
8. Personal Property
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings.
The organisers and venue hosts are not liable for loss, damage, or theft of personal items.
9. Travel & Accommodation
Unless explicitly included in the event description, participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements.
For retreats where accommodation is offered, rooms may be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
10. Liability Disclaimer
By attending an event, participants acknowledge that they do so voluntarily and accept responsibility for their own wellbeing.
The organisers, facilitators, and venue hosts are not liable for injuries, accidents, or losses that may occur during the event, except where required by law.
Terms & Conditions for Facilitators
These terms apply to facilitators, teachers, speakers, and practitioners hosting or leading events.
1. Professional Conduct
Facilitators agree to provide services in a professional, respectful, and ethical manner.
They are responsible for ensuring their practices are appropriate and safe for participants.
2. Event Agreements
Details such as:
facilitator fees
ticket revenue sharing
event schedule
required equipment
promotional responsibilities
will be agreed upon prior to the event.
3. Cancellations by Facilitators
If a facilitator must cancel their participation, they must notify organisers as soon as possible.
Where possible, facilitators may help find a suitable replacement.
Repeated or last-minute cancellations may affect future collaboration.
4. Participant Safety
Facilitators are responsible for guiding participants safely during their sessions.
They must clearly communicate any physical, emotional, or energetic practices involved.
5. Insurance & Qualifications
Facilitators are responsible for ensuring they hold any appropriate:
professional training
qualifications
insurance required for their work.
Terms for Venue Hire or Space Use
These terms apply to individuals or facilitators hiring or using the venue for events.
1. Booking the Venue
Venue bookings are confirmed once payment or non-refundable deposit is received.
Booking times must include setup and pack-down time unless otherwise agreed.
2. Respect for the Space
Users of the venue agree to:
treat the space with care
leave the venue clean and tidy
respect neighbours and surrounding community
3. Damage
Any damage to the venue, furniture, or equipment must be reported.
The hirer may be responsible for repair or replacement costs.
4. Noise & Conduct
Events must remain respectful of surrounding properties and community guidelines.
Excessive noise or disruptive behaviour may result in the event being stopped.
5. Liability
Venue hirers are responsible for the conduct and safety of their participants.
The venue owners are not responsible for injuries, accidents, or losses occurring during hired events.
Agreement
By booking, attending, facilitating, or hiring the venue for an event, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
