My Story
I've always been drawn to finding better, simpler ways of doing things.
Before building systems and automations for businesses, I spent many years travelling and working in a remarkable variety of jobs. I've worked in cafés, pubs, restaurants, hotels, factories, on farms and orchards, building sites, as a cleaner, shop assistant, receptionist, tour guide, driver, administrator, accountant and more. I've tried a little bit of everything.
Each role gave me valuable insights into how different industries operate and the challenges people face behind the scenes. Those experiences gave me a broad understanding of business and an appreciation for the people who keep things running every day.
When I settled in Wellington and joined a cost estimation team, I discovered a passion I didn't expect: Excel. What began as a desire to make my own work easier quickly became an obsession with efficiency, automation, and smart systems. I loved transforming repetitive tasks into streamlined processes that saved time, reduced errors, and made work less stressful.
That passion led me to study programming and web development, learning how to build websites, automate workflows, and create custom tools that help businesses operate more smoothly.
Today, I combine my practical experience, technical skills, and understanding of real-world business challenges to create solutions that genuinely help people. Whether it's a spreadsheet, website, quoting templates, timesheets, invoicing systems, project tracking tools, custom calculators, sales analysis, my goal is always the same: to make work easier, more efficient, and more enjoyable.
You could say I've built a career out of being productively lazy—always looking for the smartest way to get things done.
