Working with clay is good for the Soul

 Join Cate from Fig Tree Studio to make a magical clay house which can be used with real or fake candles. You will use her hand drawn templates, slab building and modelling techniques, and imprint with fabrics to produce stunning clear glazed cream houses. Also includes the option of adding some dashes of colour accents using underglazes and coloured slips.
You can add birds, cats, window boxes or whatever inspires you to your creation. By themselves they are gorgeous, and when they have a candle inside, they bring warmth and magic to a space.
Make either 1 medium house (13cm x 7cm x 10cm) or 2 mini houses (9cm x 5cm x 8cm). Extra houses can be made for an additional fee.
Around 6 weeks after the class these will be fired and glazed using a clear glaze, creating a gorgeous art piece to display in your home or gift to another
$100 per person which includes all materials, kiln firings and glaze.
